Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I have physical custody of my son and share legal custody with his father. My sons father and I are divorced and I am marrying in a few weeks. Can physical custody be taken from me and given to my ex when I remarry?

No, your remarriage should be irrelevant to the issue of

your current fitness to continue to parent and maintain physical custody of your child.

All other things being equal, your remarriage chould strengthen your custody position, not detract from it.
