You need to go to your local Juvenile & Domestic Relations District Court and tell the clerk you want to file a petition under Va. Code Sec. 20-41.10 for relief of legal determination of paternity. You will then complete the paperwork there necessary for the clerk to schedule a hearing on the matter in which the court will order a paternity test which you will be required to pay for.

If you are found not to be the father, the court will then vacate the support order, relieving you of all future obligation to support this child, and order the preparation and filing of a new birth record with the Bureau of Vital Statistics in Richmond.
