Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Planning to marry a man with children

I live in Virginia and planning to marry a man who lives in Maryland. He has 3 children from a previous relationship. I dont know if his child support is through court system or goes straight from him to his Ex. However, in this relationship, I am the primary money maker and I would like to know if my salary will be included when the system tries to determine the amount of child support. Is there a way for me to keep my salary out the battle between the two of them if/when it occurs.

Re: Planning to marry a man with children

Your income will not be factored into the formula used to determine your prospective husband's child support obligation.
