How do I give my parents permission to authorize emergency medical treatment for our children while were away on a trip?

Re: poa for children during our trip

No formal written authorization should be required for grandparents to authrorize such emergency medical treatment for their grandchildren, but you could always write something out to that effect (providing such authorization) and have it notarized if that would make your more comfortable.
