pre divorce

not for sure how it works! if you have to be seperated for 6 months how can i afford to move out have 4 children from previous marriage my husband makes a lot more than me hes trying to kick me out can i get alimony before final divorce? or even entitled to alimony at all?

No, you don't have to move out now in order to establish the conditions necessary for divorce in the Commonwealth. Virginia caselaw now permits spouses to "live separate and apart continuously, and without cohabitation" without leaving the marital home.
