Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Pre-Nuptial Agreement

Can a pre-nuptial agreement be revoked if I was asked to sign within 24 hours of marriage and I did not have my own legal representation? I signed a pre-nupt within 24 to 48 hours of marriage. I did not know to have my own attorney, therefore my husbands attorney did the paperwork which I was asked to sign.

Re: Pre-Nuptial Agreement

If you were in any way pressured or coerced in any manner to sign the prenuptial agreement and without proper legal representation, with the further, exacerbation, perhaps, of a lack of full disclosure to you of the other party's assets and liabilities, a court, under these circumstances, might well find the agreement to be invalid.
