previous legal separation

had previous legal separation in june 2004, moved back in together and reconciled in Nov. 2004; stayed together until august 2006; separated again and did not re-file for legal separation yet - are the previous separation papers still valid?

A separation agreement will typically state whether it is to remain in effect following a reconciliation. The agreement will commonly state that it is to remain effective until terminated in writing by the parties. I would suggest that you contact an attorney to review the agreement in your situation and advise you as to what your rights/responsibilities are thereunder.
