Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

pro se divorce

My daughter has been separated for over a year and has a child support agreement brokered through the Domestic Relations Court in Fairfax County. Can she do a pro se divorce?

Re: pro se divorce

Yes she may but I really don't recommend it because there are still legal issues involved that she will not be aware of. Also, child support and custody/visitation is modifiable and there may be an issue during the divorce regarding those issues.
