pro se divorce

I have filed a Bill of Complaint. My spouses was served by the sheriff, his 21 days to answer to the bill of complaint have passes. A Property Settlement Agreement has not been signed nor can get him to sign one. Am i able to request ore tenus hearing? if not what steps can i take?

Under these facts with a defendant party who apparently is not cooperating, the matter should be treated as a contested divorce, making sure that the defendant has been properly served with all required documents and notices, and, if so, then you should be able to request an Ore Tenus hearing and the entry of a default decree of divorce.
