Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I am in the process of a divorce in the state of VA but am pregnant by my new boyfriend and do not want to list my ex-husband on the birth certificate if the divorce is not final. Do I have to?

You will find the the information form for the birth certificate will ask for the name of the mother and the father. So all you will need to do is provide the names of the mother and the father. If your husband is not the father, you will not provide his name.
