Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Property bought with my inheritance sold by estranged wife

In april my wife stated she had signed a lease and refused to let me into the apt. I was forced to leave, she loved the police and locking me up. 3 months later she moved to az to live with husband to be number 6, selling all of the household belongings, all of which was bought with my inheritance, a trust actually. do i have any legal recourse in this matter. we married in va, where i live now, seperated in nc, and shes filling for divorce in az. she is on disability but works part time. among other things i left behind a 4000.00 reef tank that i had listed on craigslist i left it with the understanding that she would just sell it for 500 and send me half...she did not. she blew thru a 240,000.00 inheritance and as soon as the money was gone she began husband humping, jumping into the bed of anyone that looked like a good candidate to replace me. she has readily admitted the infidelity. she has no remorse, not even not sending my my mothers blanket, the only thing i had of hers was thrown in the gargage. had she simply sent me the 250.00 i would have let it go but i need some of my dignity back. she was emotionally, physically and mentally abusive destroying me and leaving me with no self esteem and little self worth.

If you intend to retain an attorney to assist you with pursuing this remorseless golddigger, it should be one who practices law in Arizona and not in Virginia as any action(s) for damages will in all probabilty have to

be filed in the courts of Arizona rather than those of the Commonwealth.
