Property obtained while separated - individually or separately owned?
My mother wants to transfer title of her home to me. My husband and I have been separated for 2 years. If she transfers title, is to me alone or does my spouse have an interest since we are separated?

I would suggest that your mother discuss
the matter with an attorney before any such transfer is attempted. It may be that if in fact
such a transfer is appropriate at this stage in your mother's life and she wants to go through with it(after discussing it with counsel), that she should wait until after your divorce becomes finalized in order to avoid any claims against the property on the part of your spouse.
