Married 20 yrs, seperated 3 1/2 yrs.Spouse spent+$76,800. documented family funds on ''collectables'' to be used for retirement;without my consent.After seperation,he liquidated $90,000 401K.to pay off credit cards/collectables debt. ? Do I get any of the $ back in court? are credit rcpts&cancelled cks proof enough for reinbursment? Is.50 cent on $ ''pay off'' attainable? I Need simular legal cases to proceed with settlement.Court date

First, I would be interested in what your lawyers have told you thus far?

There are not enough details here to do justice your question. I would suggest that you go to the

web and search for the Code of Va. i.e legl.state.va.us/000/scr Use that engine to find

Code Section on Divorce-"Equitable Distribution".

One of the factors in the court's final division of property in "ED" hearing is the "wasting of assets"

You should have an attorney representing you in this matter. Otherwise, I can plainly see from your questions, that you're very likely to end up on the short end of the marital assets, so to speak.
