Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Property Settlement Question

A property settlement agreement was $15,300 and how it got paid to wife was to be decided between the couple. If husband transferred $10K from a joint credit card and paid $6K in cash, is he paid up? Does it matter how the property settlement was paid as long as the total amount is reached? Can the spouse request any interest on top of settlement?

Re: Property Settlement Question

No, it would not matter how the settlement was paid, as long as it's paid (in negotiable coin of the realm),

and interest would be payable to the payee spouse only if it's provided for in the PSA(Property Settlement Agreement).
