I want to be put up for adoption by another adult please.
I know there is such things as adults adopting another adult with special needs, but I am sick and tired of my real mother and my stepfather mentally and emotionally abusing me and my spouse, and we have been going through this since we have been married. My parents live in North Carolina, and all I am looking for is free legal help for my adoption rights so that I can be adopted as an adult and separate from my birth and step parents. I am tired of going through negative experiences with my people. I want to get rid of them and get my legal rights to be adopted as an adult by another adult who will encourage me in all the things I would like to do. No matter what they are, but I want to tell my adoptive parents. I am also not able to pay for legal aid family law and adult adoption, because of our fixed income. That is why I need free legal advice. I'm tired of not finding what I am looking for. Thanks for your time

Are you presently in the court-ordered care of another adult? If so, please explain the circumstances surrounding how that came to pass.

Your proposal "to be adopted as an adult by another adult" for the reasons offered is quite frankly absurd.
The remedy for the ills which you've described would appear to involve extensive family counselling(possibly assisted by a pastor or priest) and not the false avenue of adoption as
you've described it.
