Releasing Parental rights

After a divorce, what does it take to have the father release his parental rights to the child? If he has stopped paying Child support and shows no interest in being a part of the childs life.

Re: Releasing Parental rights

The remedy for termination of parental rights is to file a petition named as such in the appropriate Juvenile & Domestic Relations District Court(J&DRDC). However, the issues which you've cited would not by themselves be normally sufficient for such a court to grant such a petition.
