Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I reside in virginia. My wife has left me and took the car to missouri. This car is in my Fathers name as well as mine, so I understand her being wife she is able to do this legally. However my father wants the car back because the load is soley in his name. My wife does not like it and she stated to me that she was going to move the car from the location and place somewhere so we could not retrieve this for my father. Is there anything I can do about this? I do have proof of an instant message saying this. Thank you for your time to whoever can answer this for me.

Yes, you can go to Missouri and get the car and drive it back to Virginia(which is about the only realistic way it's likely to be returned to you and your father under these facts in my opinion).
