my husband and I have just seperated and I was wondering if he could do anything about me taking her across state lines

No, not unless there's a court order
which would prohibit such a move on your part or one which required you to give proper notice to the court and your husband(usually 30 days advance notice) regarding such a pending move on your part----and which you nevertheless failed to heed.
