Well, it depends what the evidence is and what you want to do with it. The evidence should be preserved and kept safe. If you plan to divorce the man for adultery with this evidence, present it to your divorce lawyer. The lawyer will know how to use the evidence to obtain the divorce.
By all means get the advice of a well qualified family law attorney.
