Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Rights to house after legal seperation

My husband and I signed legal seperation papers in Feb. It was stated in the papers that I would keep the house and have sole responsibility for the house. I have not been able to get his name off of the title yet (it is a doublewide). What rights does he have to come and go as he pleases in the house? What would happen if I canged the locks? He is now refusing to sign the title over to me so I can refinance the house.

Re: Rights to house after legal seperation

Before changing the locks, you should first contact your lawyer to discuss appropriate action against your husband for his apparent breach of your separation and property settlement agreement.
