rights for wife

I may marry my ex husband but I,m hesitant because since our divorce, he purchased a home and I was concerned that if things didn't work out, could he ask me to leave, and I become homeless? Is there something that would protect me? I just turned 50 and I need to know for my protection. We have no childern.

Yes, if you had no marital claim to the home since your prospective spouse would have purchased it prior to your remarriage with presumably only his own funds and therefore the title would be only in his name, and, that being the case, he could order you off the property if, as you say, "things didn't work out".
