In a divorce case, can the judge request the home be sold, so my name comes off of the mortgage/deed? or can he request that me ex buys me out?

Re: selling marital home

Yes, a judge in an equitable distribution proceeding pursuant to a divorce could order jointly held property such as a marital home sold and the sale proceeds divided between the divorcing spouses as appropriate.

As to the second issue, judges do not normally order things which may be beyond the power of a party to effect which might possibly describe the situation as to your husband buying out your interest in the marital home.
