Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

separation

what if the husband won't leave.

I have a house lined up and my children will be better off at the new location. I will have a job there and can be separated this way. I am on the title and deed for our home.

Re: separation

Merely because your husband refuses to leave the marital home doesn't mean that you can't leave and take the children with you. It would be preferable, however, if the two of you could come to an agreement as to the terms of your separation

prior to your departure.
