Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia
separation and property settlement agreement
Is there a statue of limitations this document of 5 years? My agreement states that I must pay a sum of money when I sell my house. What if I dont sell my house in 5 years? The state is VA. Thanks

No, there is no statute of limitations on property settlement agreements which can endure as legally viable documents for much longer than a mere five years. And, if you cannot sell your house within five years through no fault of your own, you will not be sanctioned for this failure.
