Re: separation and sleeping with someone, is it adultry

What you're asking, apparently, is whether if a wife openly commits adultery in the home which she continues to share with her husband(although now living in separate quarters in contemplation of divorce), whether such an act could affect whatever financial settlement or award that she ultimately may receive when the divorce is finalized, the answer is that, while far from certain, such conduct which the law defines as adultery and a so-called fault ground for divorce on the part of the wife, could have an effect as a complicating factor on whatever she might receive in the way of settlement or award when the divorce is finalized, but, how much it might influence this particular outcome, if at all, would be virtually impossible to predict.
