You may be able to pick up a packet of forms with instructions from

the clerk's office (civil division) of your local circuit court explaining

how to file a divorce representing yourself (pro se) and without the

aid of an attorney. And, if the packet described is not available

from the clerk's office, you may still be able to download it from

the court's website.

However, if at all possible, I would, nevertheless, strongly

suggest that you at least arrange for a consultation with an attorney

who handles divorce matters in the Commonwealth and who can

further advise you regarding your particular situation.

It is much more difficult to file and proceed with a contested divorces vs. uncontested. If you have hearings and/or trials you ought to have an attorney if you do not know how to proceed correctly. Sheryl Shane, Attorney at Law. Tel. 703 503 4448. Web: [email protected].
