been seperated for over 18 months, no children the hiuse is in his name only, i lived in the house for over 5 years and helped with the family business gross over $55,000 a year, i walked out after he became involved in drugs he was foundquilty of drugs, 3 years, suspened my question is i have filed bankruptcy in march 2010 for lose of income can i get the equilty of the house $3000 in the divorce decree

You may have a marital claim to half of this equity if you can demonstrate

that you made contributions during the marriage towards the purchase, maintenance/upkeep and/or improvements to the property at least equal to that amount.

These contributions could be monetary (including payment of taxes), in your labor and/or materials provided, etc.
