Seperation with child

My wife and I of almost 11 years are considering seperation. Se has said that if we seperate, she will take our child to New Jersey and live with her mother. Can I stop her from leaving the state with our child.

Yes, possibly, if you file for custody of your child in your local J&DRDC immediately upon separation.
