Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Heres the short version. My and exgirlfriend have lived in Va for the past two years and our son was born here. In Feb. she left Va and moved to Tx, without me knowing. I have have hired a lawyer in Va. and on April 15 I won sole custody of our son until the final hearing which is set for June 15. My lawyer has suggested to me I contact a lawyer in Tx to help me register(?) this order in Tx. Thanks for your time

I would suggest that you wait until the final order regarding the custody

matter has been entered in the Virginia court having jurisidiction over

the matter before contacting an attorney in Texas to have it formally

registered, or domesticated, as some practitioners are wont to say, in an appropriate court in that state.
