Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I signed custody of my son over to my parents about a year ago. i have no job, but custody didn't change anything. i still take care of my son, although i'm paying child support to them. they try to use the custody against me, knowing i won't move out without my son and saying that my son is 'theirs'. what are my chances of gaining custody back? what do i have to do?

Unless your are found to be unfit, it is probable that as their mother you will be awarded custody. To get that you will have to go to the Juvenile and Domestic Relatons District Court in your area and speak to an intake counsellor about filing a petition for custody.
