Have I broken any law by saying no to the father. Another question is since my ex hasn"t pay 7 months of child support and he planning to take my son out of the state line. I have ask him to give me the information where, when, they are planning to leave and he had refuse to give me the information. Can I not let my son go with him. We are having court hearing coming at the end of the month. Please let me know

thanks,

Sis

No, yes, and, hopefully, the issue of unpaid child support will also be addressed

at this scheduled hearing.

If you have retained an attorney at this point, I feel it unwise to intervene at this point. Support is a separate issue versus custody and visitation. Do not play one against another would be my advise. If you feel the child is in danger by leaving file the appropriate paperwork.

If you have a court order granting you sole legal and physical custody you should follow or you may have negative consequences. But this is general information. I just dont know enough about the case to give you information to rely on. Sheryl Shane, Attorney at Law. tel. 703 503 4448. Web: www.sherylshanelaw.com.
