Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia
I would like to see my son.
I have been divorced and/or divorced for a little over 12 years. ( and it was a nasty one) 6 years ago it finally end with me having to pay a large arreage and currrent child support and getting to see my son one weekend a month ( I live about 5 hrs away).I haven't seen him in two years now and I don't know where they live. DCSE takes my payments every month. The only time I see her is when she takes me to court for more money and the judge refuses to give me her address then so I could serve her. How do I go about getting her address for the courts to serve her papers? Thank you for your time!!

Serve her for what purpose, as part of your case to reduce support, or what?
If there is a bonified reason for you to be filing a motion seeking some cognizably appropriate legal objective, you could have this woman served almost anywhere within the courthouse environs with the exception, perhaps, of judges chambers.

And, yes, you could also engage the services of a private investigator and process server to first locate the woman and then serve her with copies of your papers.
