Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Son would like to sue absentee father

My son is considering suing his father who was never involved in his life. My son (who is now 19) has no information whatsoever about his medical background because his biological father never involved in his life. Does my son have any course of action which he can take to get a medical history from his biological father? Again, this is my SON who is 19 suing for either damages or for information on medical history. Thank you.

Re: Son would like to sue absentee father

No, you son would have no cause of action in the Commonwealth of Virginia whatsoever (that he would have any hope of winning) against his allegedly disavowing father, whether it would be for money damages for the father's failure to involve himself in the son's life or for family medical history information.
