Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I have a son who just turned 18 years old but is still in school. He lived with my ex-husband for the last 2 years. My ex had to move out of his home because he had been evicted. He placed everything he and my son in storage. Come to find out he has not paid the monthly fees on the unit. My son is about to lose everything he owns because of it. Do I have any legal recourse to obtain a court order to get his belongings out of the unit? My ex has disappeared and noone can find him.

Your remedy would appear to be to pay the storage fees owed as the court (in my opinion) would be unlikely to enter an order that would require the owner of this storqge facility to take a loss of these fees under the circumstances described.
