Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My son is 40 years old and disabiled and receive a disability check. Will a divorce effect the benefit check that his wife receives on his behalf?

Yes, I would think so since she most likely would no longer

be eligible to receive his benefit check and he would likely need

to have another appropriate designated payee (in my opinion).
