Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My son's biological father has taken me to civil court six times in two years, fighting over everything from child support to custody. The courts aren't stopping him from filing a lawsuit every other month, so can I sue him for the strain this is putting on my family and myself?

Probably not a good idea. You could sue, but a Virginia judge could find your suit has little if any merit and award sanctions against you for filing a frivolous lawsuit.

You should consult an attorney.

I concur in Attorney Moseley's assessment, i.e., not a good idea.
