Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Spouse has attempted suicide 3x

My wife has tried to commit suicide 3 times in the past 6 weeks after her 3rd attempt she was found unconscious by my 11 and 13 year old daughters who had to crawl through a window in our bedroom and find their mom unconscious from an overdose of pills and alcohol. I was at work at the time. She intended on killing herself and left a suicide not behind. If my daughters did not check on their mom and call 911 she would have died. She is currently in a mental health facility and is going to be released soon. We are all afraid she is going to try to kill herself again. The Doctors say her kidneys and liver are badly damaged and she will not survive another attempt. My daughters are still in shock and are afraid that their mom will come home and try this again. What are my legal rights if any to try and keep her away from my children. Do you think someone who has tried to commit suicide 3x in six weeks is a suitable parent? especially after her 3rd attempt and having the children crawling through the window and saving their mothers life. I am at a loss and fear for her safety as well as my children. Is there anything in the legal system that I can do to get her away from these kids? She was intoxicated in all 3 suicide attempts.

Re: Spouse has attempted suicide 3x

What would you prefer in keeping your sucicidal wife away from your children, i.e., that she be quarantined in some room in the skid row part of your town where she can complete the job out of sight of family sensibilities?
