The spouse who inherited the money does not have to share it in a divorce so long as it has remained separate from marital funds or can easily be traced.

If your question was whether a spouse can inherit from a divorced spouse, the answer is no; the divorce automatically revokes any provisions made in a will for a divorced spouse unless the will provision was made after the divorce was final.
