Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

What is spouse support? If both are making good amt of money (husband-100k & wife-80k) for living still husband has to give spouse support? Is it applicable to both?

Given those salaries, each should probably waive his/her respective right to seek spousal support(alimony) from the other in their property settlement agreement.

It is not likely that a person earning 100k will be required to pay spousal support (alimony) to a person earning 80k.
