In the state of Virginia, is the wife entitled to any of her husband's military retirement benefits? The length of marriage is over 20 years.

Yes, indeed, whether the spouse be a he or a she.(The marriage must have lasted at least 10 years during the course of the retiree's active military service in order for the DFAS to make the deduction directly from the retiree's retirement pay.)
