in the state of Virginia what can be done about my 18 year old who lives with his dad who allows my son to do drugs and drink alcohol.

If your son is now 18 years of age, in Virginia he is now considered an adult

and consequently is free to violate the law as he chooses and to suffer the full consequences which may result from his unlawful conduct.
