You need to go to the county courthouse where you reside and speak to the Family Law Division clerk in the Circuit Court. The clerk will give you "pro se" (pronounced "pro say") forms for you to complete. You need to complete a Bill of Complaint for Divorce to serve on your spouse.

You can also go into the court library and ask the librarian to get you the book "Virginia Family Lawyer" and read through that. It explains much of the divorce law in VA.

The Clerk will help you out from there. Good luck.
