when should i be able to stop paying child support

my divorce papers says that i can stop paying child support when my child reaches 19 years old or graduates high school should i be able to legally stop paying for her since she has graduated but she is not yet 19

Re: when should i be able to stop paying child support

The language of your decree appears to specify either or (one condition or the other) as opposed to both conditions before your cessation of support is permitted. If one of the conditions has now occurred, i.e., your daughter's graduation from high school, then you should be permitted to cease paying support for this child(now turned adult).
