Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Submitting Parenting Plan

My ex submitted a motion to court to change custody in order for her to have sole/full custody. I submitted a counter motion asking that it remain joint custody and to implement a parenting plan that I came up with. I submitted the parenting plan with the motion. I have now made a couple of revisions and would like to submit the revised copy before the court date arrives. I am unsure as how to do this. Would I just write a letter to the court stating that revisions have been made or do I need to submit another motion or a certain document in order to have the new copy looked at? I just know that certain things must be in proper form or will not be looked at. Thank you in advance for your help.

Re: Submitting Parenting Plan

Simply submit a motion to amend your previously filed motion/opposition to include the revised parenting plan.
