Taking child on trip during other parent's visitation

I told my son's father I want to take our son on a trip during spring break but he doesn't want me to. Of the 10 days and 9 nights we'd be gone, 2 nights and 2 days of that time would be the father's visitation time.

Can I still take my son on the trip if his father doesn't want me to?

If such an action on your part would put you in possible violation of a court order, the answer is no.
