Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My ex is taking me to court to get physical custody of my 14 y.o. son. I have messed up in the past, but have made changes. Does my son have any say in where he wants to live? He does not want to move with my ex.

Yes, the judge will listed to what the boy has to say on the issue,

and, depending upon a variety a factors, judge the boy's credibility

and the weight that should be accorded his testimony in deciding the matter, accordingly.
