Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

tax return for child support

I was sent a letter from the support division in VA to supply them with three years of tax returns. I have 2005 & 2006, but 2007 I filed jointly with my new wife. I don't think it is appropriate to send my wife's information since this has nothing to do with her. Am I able to send my W2-would that be ok?

Re: tax return for child support

Your W-2 form should do, unless you had other income for the year at issue which obviously would not be reflected on that particular wage statement.
