Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia
came to terms with Ex before court
I live in New jersey, my childs mother lives in Virginia. I had non court ordered custody for the last three years also living in VA. I moved to NJ with my son and she decided to take me to court. I talked my son into moving back before the court date. She has the option of cancelling the VA court date but will do so only if we get something in writing.
Question: How can we get something in writing without going to court?

Get something in writing in regards to what, custody or other issues regarding the care of your son? An attorney in either state should be able to draft whatever type of agreement that you're looking for.
