Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Time frame for Visitation changes

My ex recently moved with our two boys to another city still in VA. So I am hoping to take her back to the new court for changes to our vistitaion. My ? is there a timeframe for a Material change in circumstances? They have 6 mos from the time they moved before the court holding jurs. changes. Is that to long?
