Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Uifsa

I live in VA and have a VA divorce decree. My ex took 2 of my kids to WI and I have paid all child support in the divorce decree and beyond. Can the state of WI nullify our divorce decree or manufacture and additional court order to impose additional child support? If so, how can I protect myself?

Re: Uifsa

If a motion were filed from Wisconsin under the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act (UIFSA) to Virginia requesting an increase in the amount of child support that was stipulated in the Virginia divorce, Virginia would be required to hear the matter in the appropriate court and grant the increase if warranted by the applicable facts and law in the case. Such would in no way legally amount to a nullification of the Virginia divorce decree.
